Mets are making it affordable to enjoy an afternoon of baseball with your family again!
We were invited last week to the First #MetsFamilyFun sunday game. My hubby is a die hard Met fan and once told me he was meant to marry a Queens girl just so he would be close to them....stalker and so romantic! Haha!
The Good Humor FanFest is located on the Field Level in center field, and offers fun for the whole family. With Mr. Met’s Kiddie Field, a scale replica of Citi Field, at its center, the GoodHumor FanFest features two batting cages, a speed pitch/dunk tank, video game kiosks, a live DJ and more! Mr. Met has also been known to make pre-game appearances. Weather permitting, the Good Humor FanFest will be open when the gates to Citi Field open (2.5hrs before game time), and will remain open until the end of the 7th inning. The Mr. Met's Kids Club is a FREE club for your littlest of fans! It is also tucked away in this corner. Membership in this club really gets you VIP treatment! Before you leave this area though make sure to stop by the kid inspired fan shop (especially if you have a sweet tooth!) and delicious new Kid's Kitchen! The all new Kid's Kitchen offers delicious child size portions of their favorite baseball treats as well as some healthy choices.
FYI: You don’t need a ticket for a child under 32” tall as long as the child sits on your lap during the game. Citi Field has a number of family restrooms and changing tables are available in every bathroom.
#MetsFamilyFun = #PricelessFamilyMemories
We arrived calmly at 11:30AM and the wait time to get in was only a few minutes. We headed to the Good Humor Fan Fest and enjoyed all it had to offer. When it started to get real crowded we took it as our cue to grab a bit to eat. After we enjoyed our lunch we did a little fan shopping and headed to our seats. We were settled in and ready to enjoy the game (instead of trying to balance our lunch on our laps while feeding a toddler). After a little while we were ready for some stadium snacks and once the game had finished we were ready for the best part of the whole day (although meeting Mr. Met probably was number 2 on my daughter's highlight of the day list)....it was time to run the bases!
The FUN is just Beginning at the
End of the game....
Running the bases with Mr. & Mrs. Met!
And the BEST part of the day for Mommy and Daddy was an EARLY BEDTIME that night!!!
