There has to be something better. So I started to google #ValentinesDayOnABudget and I got a TON of DIY ideas. Then my creative light bulb came on and thought how I could tie this into Busy Little Bees NYC and before I knew it, wham! I had a very simple (hey I am just learning how to work photoshop) little bee and of course I just couldn't resist sharing with you! Below is a PDF version of my bee for your PERSONAL USE ONLY and bears my watermark to ensure it will not be changed or altered!
- Print out as many "Bee Mine" Bees from the file below as you need. I recommend printing on card stock paper as it will look better & be easier to cut through.
- Scissors, I have these Fiskars 5-Inch Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride Scissors for years and they are amazing to cut all these DIY projects.
- Glue Dots (Optional)
- Goggly Eyes (Optional)
- Pipe Cleaners (Optional)
Simply cut out the bee, write your child's name, cut along the slits to insert the lollipops. I used the smallest lollipop I could find since these are being given out to a 3 year old classroom. However, if you use bigger lollipops, I recommend purchasing the above named optional products to make it easy to give your little bee a face (maybe I'll go all out next year when she can help me to make them). That's it! Your done! This little project took me about an hour to complete from printer to picture below!!
